From Local Response to Elite Authority

Emerald Tutoring was forged during the 2020 global disruption as a local survival mechanism for STEM students. By 2026, their reality had completely shifted — they weren't just tutors anymore, they were academic architects securing Ivy-tier placements. But their legacy WordPress infrastructure didn't reflect that institutional weight. The mandate was clear: engineer a platform that transitions their narrative from a standard help desk to a high-authority diagnostic network.

Engineering the DOM for Architectural Precision

When Evaporize Studio initiated the migration from WordPress, one thing was non-negotiable: zero layout shift and raw first-load performance. Standard drag-and-drop frameworks were never on the table. We rebuilt the entire DOM from scratch using Astro's static output architecture paired with Svelte 5 islands — surgical component hydration only where interactivity was required. Every GSAP timeline was deliberately choreographed, not decorative. Each animation sequence was engineered to guide high-intent users through Emerald's three program tiers — from K–8 Academic Core through to Ivy Admissions Strategy. Motion with purpose, not motion for motion's sake.

Active Deployment

"The site no longer functions as a passive digital brochure. It operates as a high-conversion authority platform — one that physically validates Emerald's positioning and signals to their clientele that elite academic pathways demand an equally elite digital architecture."
