Dual-Mandate Corporate Architecture
evaporize studio was commissioned to solve a structural problem most agencies answer with two separate websites. Tetra Exponus runs an accredited corporate training practice and a licensed travel operation inside one company. We built them one architecture that serves both without diluting either.
Two Businesses, One Front Door
Tetra Exponus carries a split mandate that would fracture a conventional build. On one side, an HRD Corp accredited training practice running 11 programme categories and more than 100 courses into Malaysian boardrooms. On the other, a MOTAC licensed travel and tour operation selling destinations to an entirely different buyer with an entirely different emotional temperature. The standard agency answer is two websites, two domains, two bills, and a brand that quietly splits in half. We rejected that outright. A corporate buyer evaluating a training provider and a traveller browsing a departure are looking for the same underlying signal, which is that this company is real, licensed, and will still be there next year. Our objective was to build one architecture that carries both audiences at full strength, and to make the accreditation marks that prove it, HRD Corp, MOTAC and Visit Malaysia 2026, structural rather than decorative.
Performance Under Real Weight
Travel content is heavy by nature. Destination galleries, itinerary posters and downloadable company profiles are exactly the payload that turns a beautiful site into a slow one, and mobile is where Malaysian buyers actually browse. We treated weight as an engineering problem rather than a design compromise. The build ships as a static Astro deployment on Cloudflare Pages, with Svelte islands reserved for the handful of surfaces that genuinely need interactivity and nothing else shipping JavaScript at all. Our audits caught the homepage serving roughly 89KB of CSS across three render-blocking requests, so we inlined the critical path and removed every blocking stylesheet round trip on throttled mobile connections. The client's own downloadable company profile arrived at 21.3MB. We rebuilt it at 3.5MB with the imagery verified intact, because a brochure nobody waits to download is not a brochure. Motion is carried by GSAP and Lenis, tuned so the scroll reads as considered rather than performed, and every animation resolves instantly under a reduced-motion preference. The navigation panel is the clearest expression of that discipline: a spring-driven overlay with integrated search and voice input that opens over the live page and holds its composition unchanged at 390px. The result is a site that carries a full travel gallery and a complete training curriculum across eight pages without asking the visitor to pay for it in load time.
"The platform went live on Cloudflare Pages in 2026 and now operates as the single commercial front door for both arms of Tetra Exponus. Corporate training enquiries and travel enquiries route cleanly to the right desk, the accreditation marks that qualify the company are visible where buyers actually look for them, and the whole architecture is static, cheap to run and fast under Malaysian mobile conditions."
